Hand claps, lateral arm circles, split jumps, punches, hopscotch, high knee chops and jumping jacks are to be moved through at a quick and steady pace. These are simple enough for any level of fitness, those just starting out or our seasoned little guys and girls. Now get the little team off the couch and get them moving now!
This great core strengthener for your kids will only include 7 movements.
Featuring some older classics such as flutter kicks, reverse crunches and oblique twists but also including some newer standing core challengers such as waist pinchers, standing crunches, diagonal abs and high knee chops. Standing exercises are double the trouble for the core as your kids will have to try and maintain their balance while working through these movements, making these abdominal exercises so much more efficient and effective. This routine is tailored for restless kids who are used to bouncing off the walls.
This training will put them through movements that will force them to slow down by having to choose a slow and consistent pace due to longer timing. Longer timing will get them to slow down as they will need to use all that extra energy to last the whole set. Longer breaks in between will ensure their heart rate isn’t rising into aerobic zone and stimulate them into a more active state, and instead cool them down into a calmer and more relaxing one. Time to soothe the little team down!
This fun workout for your kids consists of only 7 exercises. Each exercise will make sure to get them moving in a way to speed up their heart rate.
The added competitive angle with having to do each exercise twice is to encourage them to move a little faster once their body is warmed up with round 1. Once they get a chance to run through all 7 exercises twice, the end burnout finisher will be to try and keep up pace will all the movements once more with smaller breaks in between, making this the most effective calorie burning workout!
This tough pyramid will be a great challenge for your kids. They will get to work their way through 7 movements that will help them burn fat by building muscle with strength movements and by torching calories with cardio movements.
Pyramid style of workout will get them to come back to the top each round and work through all the movements multiple times, by adding only 1 exercise each round until they reach the top movement – push ups.
This workout for your children uses Tabata style of timing to keep work period of only 20 seconds following up with 20 second rest. During the 20 seconds is when they need to give it all they got to earn that rest!
Each of the 5 selected exercises will be repeated 3 times however, to wrap up each round they will also have to do burpees as a burnout to make sure they have nothing left in the tank!
